Haig Avenue is a lovely ground - I love visiting a ground with plenty of standing sections. They’re really proud of the new main stand and it looks great with all the yellow and black seats.

Interestingly the club was once known as Southport Vulcan after it was bought by the Southport based Vulcan Motor Company in 1918, becoming the first club to take the name of a sponsor.
