Read MoreBeing in a country that’s going through a lockdown because of a pandemic is something that I never truly thought I’d be doing, and I’m sure most of you feel the same. Most of our concerns from a month or so ago seem trivial. I long for the days where I was trying to work out if I could make the last train home from Sheffield after an away game, or which football ground I was going to visit next. Or which country I’d be visiting and which game I’d be trying to go to.
Read MoreSt James’ Park is one of the grounds that I was desperate to photograph. It’s HUGE and has such an aura about it that I’ve always found intriguing. The stands tower above you and it’s easy to imagine the wall of sound that comes from the stadium full of fans.

It’s incredibly impressive from the outside with its spirals. I had a quick look at the plans for this stadium and sadly it’s losing the spirals.
Read MoreToday I landed in Manchester from Madrid and headed straight to Wolverhampton to visit Wolves. Dave showed me around and let me wander around the stands for a bit - it’s such an impressive ground and I can never get enough of their badge covering everything, the graphic wolf is just amazing!
Read MoreToday I visited Preston North End who kindly gave me access to inside the stadium. Paul, the maintenance manager, even took time out of his day to show me around and tell me a bit about the club and what it means to him. It turned out that as well as sharing a love of football, he also loved Marseille and had visited a lot of the stadiums abroad that I’d visited too.
